Residents of Mariposa Pines have left their homes as this afternoon’s fire advances toward Jerseydale.
Just before 6 p.m., huge flames were easily visible from Jerseydale Road, just past the Circle 9 Ranch.
Mandatory evacuation remains in order for the area.
