The head of a medical supplies company involved in the distribution and supply of monoclonal antibodies across southeastern and northeastern regions of the nation, told NTD in a Jan. 12 interview that government takeover of the monoclonal antibody supply chain has exacerbated backlogs and shortages.

“The way the products are being distributed right now, relying on the government to determine who gets what, that process can be very lengthy in terms of time,” Dealmed CEO Michael Einhorn said.

As a result, physicians are reporting “surpluses in certain areas, not enough in other areas” which has fueled frustrations when critical patients are not receiving antibodies for COVID-19 infections.

While it’s unclear how the monoclonal antibodies are being rationed among states, Einhorn said that “commercialization” of these products should be allowed, so that infusion centers that need them can order in products based on “patient volume.”

“If they have oversupply they wouldn’t order more,” Einhorn said, whereas when remedies are supplied by the state, “nobody’s going to say no the government” as the products are “free practically,” leading to mismatches in supply and demand.

“I find it very difficult to believe that, in a mere year, a governmental agency in a different state can figure out the dynamics of a local regional health care system,” he added.

One particular monoclonal antibody, sotrovimab made by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Vir Biotechnology, is in high demand as emerging reports suggest it is more effective than other products against Omicron.

Dr. Marc Siegel, a practicing internist and a professor of medicine at NYU’s Langone Medical Center, wrote in an op-ed in USA Today that “Omicron is most susceptible to sotrovimab, made by GlaxoSmithKline, but in most states, it is almost impossible to find.”

Monoclonal antibody therapies have been shown to be effective in preventing severe disease or hospitalization in high-risk patients with mild to moderate COVID-19.

On Jan. 12, the Biden administration secured 600,000 more doses of sotrovimab for an undisclosed sum, bringing the total doses purchased by nations globally to roughly 1.7 million, according to Reuters. The additional doses will be delivered in the first quarter of 2022 according to GSK.

Since October 2021, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has delivered over 385,000 doses of sotrovimab to states across the nation.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Jan. 7 criticized the Biden administration that had cut Florida’s supply of the remedy in half, to 150,000 doses. DeSantis added that before the government “seized control of the monoclonal supply,” Florida was administering 30,000 doses per week.

Under the Biden administration’s COVID-19 “action plan,” monoclonal antibodies are listed as a “life-saving” treatment, “shown to reduce the risk of hospitalization by up to 70% for unvaccinated people at risk of developing severe disease.”

The plan also identifies the remedy as a “key tool to improve health outcomes, prevent hospitalizations, and reduce the strain” on hospitals.

The Epoch Times has approached HHS for comment.

APPRECIATED THE STYLE BUT NEVER A REAL RAP FAN

There were always a few rap songs that I enjoyed through the years because I can appreciate the emotional expression, but it just wasn’t my thing. Sure, absolutely, I have some difficulty understanding “fast raps” (apparently a learned ability because it seems to be getting easier), but this guy and his lyrics encourage repeated listening to get the whole message. Brilliant! Guess it is just a process like everything else. Anyway, just thought I’d pass on something new to me that is extremely encouraging (while simultaneously entertaining) – regarding what has happened to OUR AMERICA and the insane direction it is currently headed. I still have difficulty accepting the reality and seriousness of the situation.

Yup, this artist is completely new to me (I live in a an echo chamber remember? lol) so I don’t have a “total understanding” of everything TOM MACDONALD may, or may not, support and/or advocate….but so far (after listening to a bunch of his material) I have not heard anything that has caused me the least bit of concern. I especially appreciate his disclosures about his life which has shaped his career and defiant attitude. (THE ULTIMATE “DO IT YOURSELF SUCCESS!) Again, this guy is amazing as is his wife who produces his videos. (Nova Rockafeller a former famous rapper herself I just read.) Again…..forgive me if I misunderstand some details as I am new to this whole rap scene stuff and I’m rushing to listen to more! Seriously.

OLD DOG BAD HABITS

Funny, I’ve probably heard MacDonald’s music a number of times from other waiting vehicles in heavy traffic or at a stoplight and likely (and incorrectly) ASSumed it was just some more of that ANTI-AMERICA violent imagery stuff I heard in the past and didn’t care for the way it “left me feeling”. MacDonald’s music/beat/special effects/imagination AND INTENSITY – whatever – the entire package, left me feeling hopeful, stronger, more determined and confirmed I am not alone in recognizing the evil that has systematically been consuming America and OUR FREEDOMS behind the scene for decades.

(Sure we saw the individual pearls of legislation or laws that we thought defied common sense and were potential rabbit holes to more dysfunction but the potential ramifications in actual damage at the time appeared minimal and there were other more pressing and important battles to fight. Some excuse like that, yeah? Anyway, we now clearly understand each one of those single individual pearls has been crafted into a nice looking and expensive long string of deadly objects forming a garrote around OUR COLLECTIVE NECK and the left is attempting to apply the finishing torque to complete the planned suffocation.)

It feels like some part of me that has been AWOL for some time suddenly and surprisingly reappeared due to MacDonald’s lyrics and presentation. Difficult to explain but I guess a one word description would be encouraging.

Had extra time due to waiting for some carburetor parts and “light duty work” as a result of some minor dental surgery for a broken crown. Thank Heavens for modern day dentistry. Caught up on a number of old Rawhide episodes and couldn’t help but reflect on what I know regarding medical/dental care back then. Glad to be here now. Schools Intentionally Dumbing Down Children for Control as Education Becomes Politicized: Alex Newman | Crossroads (The Epoch Times) Critical Race Theory

Critical race theory together with gender ideology and the manmade global warming hypothesis that’s now being taught to young children, all have the goal of dismantling the United States as a free society, said Alex Newman, investigative journalist and Epoch Times contributor.

There is a global effort coming from the United Nations and from China to build a single world system, where individual liberty will be abolished, Newman told EpochTV’s “Crossroads” program.

This new system is described as a multipolar world order as opposed to the current unipolar world order where the United States is the undisputed sole superpower and the hegemonic force in world affairs today, Newman explained. To achieve this goal the United States must be undermined not just economically, but also intellectually and militarily.

“[This will] allow other nations to be built up, other governments, especially the Communist Chinese government, to grow in prestige and influence in economic prowess for the purpose of really drastically reshaping the world order into this, what they call the multipolar order, where Russia and China and the so-called BRICS [five countries] like Brazil and India will be kind of on an equal standing with the United States.”

“But America, at least the ideas and the essence of what America is, has stood as an obstacle to that agenda. So if you want to make this agenda possible, … you’re going to have to undermine the principles that the United States was founded on.”

According to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “8 predictions for the world in 2030,” which are summarized in a video posted on Twitter, the United States will no longer be the leading superpower, but the world will be dominated by a handful of countries.

Promotion of CRT in US

The Chinese regime is promoting critical race theory through its state-run media, right here in the United States—raising big questions about why this is happening.

Promotion of critical race theory in America is just a continuation of the Marxist tactic that divides society up into opposing camps to create a conflict between them, Newman said, “and then use that conflict—that typically Marxists will instigate—as a vehicle to bring about a revolution; to bring about the discontent that will finally result in the overthrow of the old system.”

“When Mao took over China, … [he] divided people up into the red classes and the black classes. The black classes, of course, were the evil classes: the business owners, the Christians, the counter-revolutionaries, the landowners, etc. Whereas the red classes, those were the oppressed; the victims—and they were the workers, the landless peasants, and so on.”

The same tactic, dividing America up into oppressor and oppressed, is used to instigate revolution in the country, Newman explained, but “to try to tell an American worker that he’s oppressed is less compelling.”

It is simply not plausible to tell an American worker who makes $60,000 a year, gets three weeks paid vacation, has a 2,500 square foot air-conditioned home, two nice cars, and four color TVs, that they’re being oppressed by their employer, Newman continued.

Therefore, race was exploited to divide America and conquer the society, Newman said.

America is almost unique in the world; it is not really like a lot of other nations that have the same ethnicity, the same history, the same background,” Newman noted.

“America was different. America was founded on ideas: the idea that God created everyone equally, the idea that God gave everyone rights, the idea that government exists for the purpose of protecting these rights. That is the foundational principle that America was founded on.”

Liberty and the fruit that came from that such as the incredible prosperity, the innovation, the living standards, or even the equality, the safety, and the reduction in human misery were unprecedented in human history, Newman said.

“So to overthrow that old order, you need some kind of very powerful, very seductive mechanism.”

Now children in school are taught: “If your ancestors came from Europe, you’re automatically part of the oppressor class. If your ancestors came from, say, Africa, you’re automatically part of the oppressed class,” he continued.

Newman pointed out that not only race is used to divide American society but also gender. Those who are heterosexual or identify with their birth gender are also considered oppressors.

He believes that “the only way [such tactics are] possible is to have an uneducated population. A well-educated people never would have fallen for these tricks.”

Remaking Education

Traditionally throughout Western history, training the mind to be able to think, understand things, and acquire additional knowledge was at the core of education, Newman said.

Education used to focus on understanding and gaining a better knowledge of God, and the nature of good and evil, the purpose in life, he explained. Institutions such as Harvard University, Princeton, and Yale were founded as Christian institutions.

The departure from traditional education started more than a century ago and was led by John Dewey, who was also a professor at Columbia University and is called the father of American progressive education.

According to Dewey, who was influenced by Darwin’s theory of evolution, children should be weaned from the traditional tutelage of parents, religion, and culture, and given free rein to adapt to their environments. Dewey was a pragmatist and moral relativist. He believed that there was no unchanging morality and that people were free to act and behave as they saw fit.

In 1929, the rector of the Second State University of Moscow, Albert P. Pinkevich—as quoted by Robin S. Eubanks—wrote favorably of Dewey, saying that his ideas were very close to those of “Marx and the Russian Communists.” Biographer Alan Ryan, also quoted by Eubanks, wrote that Dewey “supplied the intellectual weapons for a decently social democratic, non-totalitarian Marxism.”

Newman noted that Dewey advocated in his writings for a system that in reality would dumb down the population but Dewey didn’t say it explicitly.

According to Newman, Dewey asserted that there is no need to teach kids how to read, write, and do the math. Instead, Dewey recommended that what kids “really need is to be properly socialized. They need to be just totally immersed in this collectivism, so that they will understand that they need to work for the good of the whole—the good of the collective—as opposed to their own individual benefit or the benefit of their family.”

Newman cited Adam Smith, a Scottish economist and philosopher, to argue that in “a free market system based on private property, the individual’s own pursuit of his rational self-interest ends up benefiting society more than if he was actually going out and consciously trying to observe and benefit society.”

He provided an example of a baker who makes cheaper, better tasting bread than his competitors in order to make money thus benefitting his community.

As an example of Dewey’s approach, Newman cited the state of Oregon where testing for proficiency requirements to graduate from high school have been discontinued. So a student who is unable to read, write, or do any math can get a high school diploma.

Newman pointed to National Assessment of Educational Progress data, which shows that less than 1/3 of public school students are proficient in reading, writing, arithmetic, or any other core subject.

Mark Bauerlein, a professor at Emory University, wrote in his book that on the history exam of the 2001 National Assessment of Educational Progress, 57 percent of students scored “below basic” and only 1 percent achieved an “advanced” score.

John Taylor Gatto, a senior teacher and educational researcher in New York City, said in his book, “Pick up a fifth-grade math or rhetoric textbook from 1850 and you’ll see that the texts were pitched then on what would today be considered college level.”

Thomas Sowell, an American scholar and a senior fellow of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University observed: “It is not merely that Johnny can’t read, or even that Johnny can’t think. Johnny doesn’t know what thinking is because thinking is so often confused with feeling in many public schools.”

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, a former senior policy adviser to the U.S. Department of Education, wrote in 1999: “The reason Americans do not understand this war is because it has been fought in secret — in the schools of our nation, targeting our children who are captive in classrooms. The wagers of the war are using very sophisticated and effective tools.”

Instead of learning basic skills, children are taught in schools critical race theory. Children in kindergarten are taught that they may have been born in the wrong body and they can take pills or undergo a surgical procedure to reflect their true selves, Newman said.

They are also being taught a distorted version of American history and world history, he continued.

“They don’t teach the children almost anything about the history of communism, the history of socialism, the history of collectivism, because if the children understood what has happened where these ideas have been implemented, they would recoil in horror when they saw them being implemented here.”

Considering the unprecedented scale of attacks on parents trying to be involved in the public school system, Newman advises concerned parents to remove their children from the public school despite the hardship and sacrifices that such a move may imply.

“I tell parents at this point: if you love your children, if you want them to be successful, well adjusted, sensible, well educated, clear thinking individual’s, your only option is to remove them from the public school system. … You will not be able to get your children a decent education at a public school anymore,” Newman concluded.

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) is breaking its own rule that states pilots should not fly after having taken medications that have been approved for less than a year, according to a group of attorneys, doctors, and other experts; including a pilot who says his career ended due to adverse reactions from a vaccine.

Airlines, which are government contractors, are affected by President Joe Biden’s order from September that states all employees of those companies have to be vaccinated against the CCP virus.

The group of attorneys and doctors wrote a letter directed at the FAA, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Justice, as well as several airlines, demanding that they medically flag all vaccinated pilots and have them re-examined for blood clotting problems as well as their cardiac health.

“The Federal Aviation Agency is charged with ensuring the safety of the flying public. Instead, as we speak the FAA, as well as the commercial airline companies, are acting in contravention of their own federal aviation regulations and associated guidance which tells medical examiners to NOT issue medical certifications to pilots using non-FDA approved products,” human rights attorney and primary author of the letter, Leigh Dundas, told The Epoch Times via email.

“The title of the section I’m talking about literally says ‘Do Not Issue—Do Not Fly’ and then instructs medical examiners to ‘not issue’ medical certifications to pilots using products that the FDA ‘approved less than 12 months ago.’ … The pilots are flying with products which are not even recently approved—in violation of the above wording—they are flying with injections in their bodies which were NEVER approved by the FDA at all (as no COVID vaccine which is commercially available in the U.S. has received FDA approval),” Dundas said.

Amid widespread confusion about the availability of the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine, The Epoch Times did an investigation in October and discovered that the approved Comirnaty version of the vaccine was still not commercially available in the United States. Pfizer says it’s the same vaccine that originally received emergency use authorization.

Another one of the signers is Cody Flint, whose career as a pilot ended after voluntarily taking the jab and experiencing adverse effects. He is a father of two with no underlying conditions.

The 34-year-old agricultural pilot doesn’t remember how he landed after nearly blacking out in mid-flight.

He was flying his aircraft when tunnel vision started to kick in and a headache he had developed after getting the jab worsened.

About two hours after having taken off, he decided to pull up the plane to go back and felt an “extreme burst of pressure” in his ears, then immediately “nearly blacked out,  [and felt] dizzy, disoriented, nauseous, and [was] shaking uncontrollably,” Flint told The Epoch Times.

As a commercial pilot, Flint was concerned when he first saw FAA’s 48-hour no-fly rule after a COVID-19 vaccination.

The FAA has stated that pilots and air traffic controllers may receive the COVID-19 vaccine, with appropriate precautions.

“I find it hard to comprehend how the FAA justified moving the goalposts of safety from one full year of post-marketing safety review to only two days. The dangers associated with a pilot experiencing a severe adverse reaction from an mRNA-type Covid vaccine while at the controls of an airplane can be horrifying and deadly to say the least.

“As a pilot that experienced a tragic and career-ending adverse reaction to the Pfizer COVID vaccine while actively flying an airplane, I feel I can honestly and creditably speak out about the dangers associated with pilots returning to flight duties too early following COVID mRNA type vaccination,” he added.

Another signer, Dr. Pete Constantine Chambers, D.O. has been practicing medicine for 25 years, 16 of which he served as a Flight Surgeon attached to Special Operations.

“Unfortunately, several of my soldiers have experienced hospitalizations for serious diagnoses to include brain hemorrhages, myocarditis, anaphylaxis, pulmonary emboli, and vertigo. These were all post-vaccination. Army Regulations state we should be tracking these cases post-immunization. Other concerns stem from the recent rash of suicides amongst soldiers serving on the mission. The added deployment stressors placed upon the young heroes paired with the unknowns of experimental medications concerns me,” Chambers told The Epoch Times.

He made clear that his opinions are personal and don’t reflect those of the State Military Department, the Medical Command, or the Department of Defense.

Chambers believes he might get criticized for speaking out, but just as he is “perfectly willing, to lay down my life for fellow soldiers,” also, he is “perfectly willing to risk professional scrutiny to protect my soldiers with the same zeal and love for their very existence.

“I had warned the medical command and leaders to pay strict attention to these stressors as I was conducting an initial study early in the deployment. My study was cut short when I was ordered to focus only on convincing soldiers to take the vaccine and not to administer informed consents,” Chambers added.

“I also believe as a provider in the first stanza of the Hippocratic Oath; ‘First of all, do no harm.’”

Aerospace Occupational Medicine Specialist LTC Colonel Theresa Long, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Ryan Cole, and Mary Holland from Children’s Health Defense also signed the letter.

Upon The Epoch Times’ request for comment to the FAA about the potential violation of the 12-month regulation, the agency referred to an FAQ page on its website.

“The Federal Air Surgeon determined that FAA medical certificate holders may not act as pilot in command, or in any other capacity as a required flightcrew member, for 48 hours after each dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. The Federal Air Surgeon made this determination after evaluation of available medical information about these COVID-19 vaccines and potential side effects. As a result of this determination and consistent with 14 CFR § 61.53(a), each person subject to part 67 who receives the vaccine must wait 48 hours after each dose before acting as pilot in command or as a required flightcrew member,” it states.

The Epoch Times reached out to the U.S. Army and Pfizer for comment.
